I just assume Google is updating their software on their end. Once reinstalled it's good to go for a little over a year or More. This is the only remote app that I've found that actually works. But other that that, as long as TV and phone are on the same wifi network it works for all other functions. I'm super happy I found this app seeing as my remote is in storage. Excellent remote app! At your first attempt to connect you have to manually hit the enter button on the bottom of the Samsung TV to allow the connection if the request pops up on the TV screen, that is , but after that the connection remains stable, and best of all - NO ADS!!
